Loeffler was an Hungarian artist who immigrated to the United States and settled in Taos, NM. Her books are beautiful, but very difficult to find.
Fun Fact about another book: The first edition of the popular book, The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes had a misprint on the dust jacket spine--mistakenly titled the book The Easter Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes. Finding a copy with the mis-printed spine title will be truly rare.
